Humble Beginnings

Humble Beginnings
Reilly-Chance Collection officially began in 2000—but the journey started much earlier.
At 17, I bought my first sewing machine at a pawn shop for $20. I didn’t grow up loving to sew—in fact, I nearly failed sewing class in 9th grade. But I had a spark to start something of my own, and a drive to create.

What began as simple sewing work for local decorators—dust skirts, pillows, and basic projects—soon turned into something more. As I gained experience, I discovered a knack for combining fabrics and working closely with clients to bring their vision to life. My early clients had impeccable taste, which helped shape my eye for elevated design.
While I found deep fulfillment in creative work, my heart's desire was always to be a mom. I’m incredibly thankful that this business allowed me to be just that—present for my two sons during the day, and busy at the sewing machine late into the night.
Reilly-Chance Collection Is Born
Thank you for allowing us to be a part of making your home even more beautiful.
In 2000, I launched the Reilly-Chance Collection with a vision: to offer ready-made home décor that looked and felt as luxurious as any custom creation. My husband—then a police officer—soon joined me in the business full time. With the help of my dad managing our first workroom, we grew steadily while still operating from our home until our youngest went off to college.
For over a decade, we operated a showroom at the Dallas World Trade Center, working closely with retailers and store owners across the country.
We’re thrilled to now offer our upscale bedding and home décor collections directly to you—at a level of quality once reserved for boutique showrooms, and at more accessible prices.
My greatest hope is that you love what you receive even more in person than when you first saw it online.
Warmly,
Patsy
P.S. Wondering where the name Reilly-Chance comes from? It’s a tribute to our grandmothers—Reilly and Chance—two amazing women we both deeply admired and miss every day.
